25/03/2020 22:21:00 How to select GPU instead og CPU for parallel calculation? Hello Iber-Team, how can I tell Iber+ to use the GPU instead of the CPUs? I have two 6 core Xeon CPUs with activated Hyperthreading and a Nvidia Quadro K6000 GPU installed and active. Iber+ seems to use only the CPUs. Other applications that use CUDA/OpenCL make use of this GPU. OS is Win 7 64, GPU driver is NVIDIA 386.07 (22.21.13.8607). The task manager shows that IberPlus.exe is using 12 threads (50% overall CPU load). GPU-Z shows no load/memory use on the GPU. My Iber out window gives the following infos: Iber+ 1.2b (v1.1-18-g2131da7_) =================================== [...] Initial volume: 0.00 m3 Numerical scheme: Roe 1st Order Number of elements: 3572223 Number of boundaries: 10931 Number of edges: 5352869 Using CPU: 12 threads [...] It definetively runs parallelized, but not on the GPU;( Thanks for your support Axel |
